In the spirit of love month, I have compiled 15 of my favourite Romantic Movies of all-time to share with you.

January might have grabbed you by your laundry do not despair it’s finally February. The month of love and black history. Our entertainment will be focusing our attention on Valentine’s Day and Black History, if you look at your TV guide you will clearly see that this is the schedule for the month of February.
It’s the perfect season for a movie marathon, and I’ve got the best romantic and romantic comedies to get you in the feels and inspire you for the big day right here. If you’re in the mood to feel uplifted, there’s nothing better than watching two people made for each other meet, dislike like each other only to fall in-love, get separated, and, inevitably come together in the end.

Monica (Sanaa Lathan) moves in next door to Quincy (Omar Epps) at the age of eleven and they grow up together. But then, as love blossoms between the two, their desires to be the best basketball players stand in their way.

Henry (Adam Sandler), a vet, falls in love with Lucy (Drew Barrymore), who suffers from short-term memory loss. Lucy can never remember meeting him because of her condition, so Henry romances her afresh each day and hopes that she too loves him.
5. Diary of a Mad Black Woman (2005)

We follow Helen (Kimberly Elise) after being married for 18 years, her husband ( Steve Harris) divorces her for another woman. Heartbroken, she moves in with her sassy grandmother Madea (Tyler Perry), who helps her overcome the trauma.

In the face of helping numerous men woo women with his magical love formula, Alex Hitchens (Will Smith), a professional date doctor, finds it difficult to win the game of love with Sara (Eva Mendes), a gossip columnist.
7. Something New (2006)

Career-minded Kenya McQueen (Sanaa Lathan) is set up on a blind date with architect Brian Kelly (Simon Baker) but backs out when she realizes that he is white. Love brews but, after her friends introduce her to executive Mark Harper (Blair Underwood), she must choose between the type of man she always dreamed she wanted and giving in to life’s little surprises.
8. Why Did I Get Married? (2007)

Four married couples take a week’s vacation each year where the only agenda is asking themselves ‘why did I get married?’ This time, each couple’s relationship is exposed as secrets are laid bare. An animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. A young waitress, Tiana (Voice of Anika Noni Rose), embarks on an hilarious adventure after her fateful kiss with a frog prince (Voice of Bruno Campos) who cannot wait to be human again.
10. Leap Year (2010)

Genre: Romance/Comedy Duration: 1h 40 min
Anna Brady (Amy Adams) decides to travel to Dublin, Ireland, to propose to her boyfriend on February 29, a leap day. However, she faces several hindrances on her way to Dublin with her new friend Declan (Matthew Goode).
11. Just Go with It (2011)

Genre: Romance/Comedy Duration: 1h 57 min
A plastic surgeon (Adam Sandler) convinces his assistant (Jennifer Aniston) to join him along with his young girlfriend (Brooklyn Decker) on a trip to Hawaii and pose as his ex-wife to cover up a lie by Just Going with It, but he ends up complicating the situation further.
12. Tell Me Sweet Something (2015)

Genre: Romance/Comedy Duration: 1h 30 min
tells the story of Moratiwa, an aspiring writer who owns and runs a bookstore in the heart of Johannesburg. The bookstore, like her love life, is not experiencing much success. This all changes when she meets and falls in love with the unlikeliest candidate in the world. starring Nomzamo Mbatha, Maps Maponyane and Thishiwe Ziqubu.
13. Me Before You (2016)

After losing her coffee shop job, Louisa Clark (Emilia Clarke) is forced to accept one which requires her to take care of Will Traynor (Sam Claflin), a recently paralyzed man. The two of them rapidly bond with each other.
