Some days I go big, some days I go with quick & easy. Here are my top 4 go to daily breakfast ideas…
#1 Superfood Smoothie
Never had I been a fan of smoothies; I just did not understand them. Why would I opt to drink my meal instead of chewing? Well adult-ing is my why.
When I am pressed for time my go to breakfast is a tropical superfood smoothie. Which is meant to be very beneficial to my health and blah blah blah…

I got the recipe from my parents. This smoothie not only tastes good but keeps me filled for a long-ish while. It is also quick & easy to make. I it have in multiple ways.

#2 Mixed Fruit Bowl Breakfast
Summer is the peak harvest season for a wide range of fruits. Which is why my fruit bowl breakfast is a staple for the summer months. So, I just add plain yoghurt and/or granola to the fruits I have available. It is a healthy and light start to a hot summer day.

#3 Oats
My winter go to is a warm/hot bowl of oats. This is also my home-sick remedy. Growing up, my grandmother would make us the most magical oatmeal porridge. Although oats seams to build an appetite or not keep me filled for that long. My twist is to add my milk in the final stages of cooking. I then top it up with fresh berries & slices of banana and a sprinkle of cinnamon spice upon serving.

#4 Br-Egg-Fast (Egg Breakfast)
My “it’s a Saturday morning” favourite is an egg breakfast. This is my go to on mornings that are not as fast paced as a weekday. Or when I want to just show off my kitchen skill potential. How I prepare the eggs is influenced by the number of eggs available to number of plates to serve. For fewer eggs than plates I make scrambled or omelettes. When there are enough eggs I go with boiled, fried or poached. With this breakfast I just put together what is in the fridge or pantry to accompany the eggs
